Beer Enthusiast’s Course


Enrollment limited to 20 students.

This series of three classes covers basic brewing and brewing techniques, beer tasting, and beer and food pairings. It includes the hands-on, start-to-finish brewing of up to six different beers right in the UT Culinary Institute kitchen. There will be tasting of a
number of different commercial beers representing a variety of classic styles. The course culminates with an in-depth tasting where you’ll learn the ins and outs of beer and food pairings. This course is taught by Dennis Collins who is an accomplished homebrewer and Certified Beer Judge. He is also a graduate of the UT Culinary Program. It’s a must for any beer enthusiast wanting to expand their knowledge and understanding of beer and brewing.
